Tell them where your fire hydrant is located. Then they will find you the actual map # and fire Hydrant # you want to use.
Then you have to go to "special services" at any DWP location with the appropriate checks (You will need two (2), One being a deposit and one for water used.
You also need a letter with your company letterhead that gives you authorization to open up this temporary account.
You then have to wait while this person works out a schedule and the actual time to install the meter (usually it takes 2 days).
